Your first visit: Any information you provide will help determine your treatment plan, providing you with the best possible results. You do not need a referral from your Doctor, however any medical information you wish to share is appreciated. This includes current medications you are taking, other therapies you have used or are currently participating in, results of diagnostic tests, i.e.  X- Rays, C T scans. You will be asked to complete a questionnaire, pain scale assessment, and a consent form. I will be happy to assist you with these. An assessment will be started and treatment plan explained. Please feel free to ask questions at any time. What to wear? Loose clothing is helpful. The treatment arrays need to be in contact with your skin and this may be around knee, hip or shoulder joints. How long is the treatment? The treatments can last from 30 min. to 60 min. Backs take 60 min and most others are around 35 min. You will be laying down or sitting depending on your comfort. How many treatments are needed? The number of treatments will vary with regard to the individual presenting the problem. Just as every medical condition varies so will the individual response to therapy. We can discuss this as your treatment plan progresses. How much does the treatment cost? The present rate is $20.00 for the first ½ hour of your first treatment. The following treatments are $ 40.00 per half hour per machine. Is it covered under Insurance plans? It is not covered under the Provincial Health Plan nor is it covered under some to the insurance plans. I am hoping this will change in the future. **Laser is an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.** What is Laser Therapy? Laser therapy is the future of pain relief.
